Kaynight is the heart beat of these forums....

yes MEXI kaynight is a friend, u2, all members are friends or future friends or fired. i fire 1/10 each year on an average (observation on on year only, i probably thing the serie is enough for me , staff will certainly tell me).

you were right about sthg : probably 0.00000.00001, but still my friend, guy changed ONE letter, just great californian humorist imitator of fB. But still my friend.

OP should leave or probably may stay, me I think. I worked too long in weather rerpot writer: so i learned to speak like aeconomist:  "I probably think work disappears after 23 june and certainly it will be humanity happiness."

Retired have too much time off , boring fB        just writing.

suggestion  ; don't feed trolls, feed the paranoiac.Laughing.

lol, my comment about a yellow toad called richard was deleted! and all the slanderous threads running into a hundred pages still stand.

SaintGermain32105

Interesting thread. although. I don't understand "goodbye cruel world" type of threads

if you feel you MUST leave, why the long explanation?  do you want us to change your mind??

I can only say that while I notice the craziness of the forums I don't agree

1) you are the master of what you say. be polite.  be silent when it doesn't make sense to say anything. be skeptical.  be instructive.

2)Instructive/constructive material DOES happen. its just rare. Be patient, and observant.

3)Keep in mind a good bit of material is All in fun.  people , perhaps, have an odd sense of humor.  but when it comes to chess, truthfully, its limited how instructive we can be.  so some people just joke.  the first rule of Jokes is to NOT take it seriously.

Frankly I don't remember all your reasons.

provocation is NOT what the forums are about.  getting people upset and silly outrageous, ridiculous, upsetting, or offensive stuff- over time WILL give you bad experiences with the moderators.  That should be enough reason not to do it, alone.

as for me, my participation in the forums is kind of like a Long term goal to be immersed in chess.  the price of that is dealing with trolls, and getting entangled with drama

thegreat_patzer

my skeptical side, says you haven't even really reported me.

on the other hand, I vow Not to underestimate people.

Just out of curiousity, can you prove that you really reported me? and what Did you say??  a screen shot would be epic.

so far as I know have I've never been reported before...

thegreat_patzer

also most ot the time, Muting comes first

the idea is if you lose your privilege to write in the forums, perhaps you'll get a clue to be better next time.

Banning would be extraordinary

SaintGermain32105

My skeptical side says that my goodbyes are not enough. :))

It's someone else's problem really.

More like a herpes on the genitalia of the site.

I also was tempted to leave because of the low signal-to-noise ratio in the forums.  But then I realized that if I left, "the terrorists win".  So I decided that instead I needed to develop the self control to simply not react emotionally to the provocative content.  Now I just chuckle when I read the nonsense here, and don't feel any need to confront or correct anyone.  Now life is much easier.
