It is possible for chess.com make grandmaster from the past like Capablanca,Lasker ect and put new personality to play from Capablanca to Fischer and maybe simulate a Tournament to play again the top player from the past. It should be a great idea. I see the add Bet Harmon. Please consider this idea.

Not really.  It is not a new idea. Chessmaster did it 20 years ago.

But it is getting better. The new bots are supposed to demonstrate some of the habits and knowledge of real players.

There is no real Beth Harmon to base games on.

I would think that it’s very hard with traditional engines to have them play in a style. Mostly I think you can do it superficially with opening books and choosing sharp vs. positional lines, but it’s nowhere near the same.

Now, it might be possible to get close using a neural network whose training data is heavily influenced by a single player, but that’s not really practical and the training data sample would be small. But I think it’s theoretically possible. But honestly, it would be way too expensive to implement.
