Can you recommend some good Grand Master games that would be appropriate for a beginner (1000 USCF) to study?

Honestly I have no idea but Carlsen has some very nice swindles and Kasparov has good play, then just endgames

If you can get Understanding chess move by move by John Nunn it will be great.

There’s no point to study GM games at 1000, you should be doing tactics puzzles and learning general principles first
