What is your reasoning to defend yourself behind consecutive losses if you want your chasing dream to cross the finish line
Grandmaster in 100 days challenge

Hello everyone
I have never played chess before in my life and I'm going to try to become a grandmaster in chess in only 100 days. A friend of mine challenged me to do this since I'm an addictive learner. Wish me luck and support me on twitch.tv/3picemuboy
Kind Regards
Jordi
Well, since a lot of (most/all) tournaments are cancelled for a while, it won't be possible since you won't be able to play ant OTB rated games for at least a month, probably two, at best.
But unless you are already closed to GM strength, getting there in years is a better estimate and only if you are really strong, young, and have the ability to go to strong events.

I'm just going to try to get 2500+ rating on blitz here. If I succeed, I'll try to play real tournaments.

It's nice to see someone set a nice and clear goal for themselves. So now when we say it's unrealistic we know when we can tell they failed. Don't want to be mean but it's not going to happen. But good luck anyway and have fun.

I wish you the best of luck, but the probability of this happening is quite literally zero. Becoming a GM is something only a tiny fraction of all chess players ever achieve.
The following traits are helpful-
1. ability to work very hard
2. good physical condition
3. starting as young as possible
4. access to teachers / trainers
5. access to tournaments with very strong players
6. fast "mental" calculation speed
7. good memory skills
8. willingness to really study your own games and be brutally honest about mistakes.
9. having access to stronger players that can look over your games and give you advice
10. great physical and mental endurance
Again, good luck my friend. In 100 days of hard work, maybe you will gain 100 - 150 rating points. That would actually be something.

Why would I be using a blitz bot?
I don't know...why would someone who has never played chess even know about the existence of blitz bots?

Good luck buddy. It's not going to happen though. Let me give you a more realistic, but yet difficult goal. Try reaching 1000 rating in 100 days. Reaching 1000 has been my chess goal for 2020. The past 100 days I have increased 262 in max rating. If you study hard and smart every day you could do that.
Have fun with your challenge OP. I hope you soon come to the realization that becoming a GM in 100 days is unrealistic and you set a more realistic goal. Enjoy the game.

Looking at your games it's not suprising that people are accusing you of cheating. Either you are lying about having never played chess before or you are cheating in your games. If the latter is true I think a more appropriate challenge would be to go 100 days without being banned

Instead of trying to become a GM in 100 days, why don't you try the following, more reasonable challenge:
In 100 days (the time you set for your GM challenge), learn to play chess blindfolded for 40 moves or more
Here, instead of having to learn years of content, you only have to learn some chess notation and practice memory. Hard? Very (I personally can't do it). Possible? Well, better than becoming a GM from scratch in 100 days.
Good luck either way

If you can get an USCF rating of 1400 in 100 days it will be great;that mean a rating of 1500 here
Good luck!
