Grateful to chess

Ok, I used to play chess when i was little kid. My father is a strong player, and he taught me the game early. Then as a early teenager i stopped playing. And did not play for over ten years. And practically  forgot the basic rules etc... But then few years back i was facing a tremendously difficult break-up from a long relationship ( Breaking-up + 8 years relationship is not a piece of cake). So i needed something to keep my mind focus and just keep it straight. And by accident found Chess again, and started playing it regurally In a local club and online. Now looking back i see it was extreamly helpfull and good companion during those times.. of course it does not substitute good friends and everything. But the discipline, focused thinking of the Game, helped me to keep my mind clean and fresh. (Partying, drinking and fast relationships are really not that great). So, in a way It was really a helpful tool for me to recover..  Yeah, I know this sound`s over sentimental, and who cares about my personal matter`s anyway. But just needed to say: Thank you Chess!!
