Greedy?

In my last game I was being accused of being greedy because I refused to give my opponent a draw. I refused because I was significantly up in material. However, he had timed out in our previous game, so he thought he deserved a draw (the game he timed out on was headed for a draw). Was I right in finishing the game for a win?

You were right. Timing out was his fault and you were winning this game so you should not show him mercy. If he has to be immature about it that is his problem, not yours.

That's an easy one which will probably only get a few responses because you are so clearly right. I was up 2 pawns heading into an endgame against an opponent who offered a draw 5 times over the course of less than 3 moves. When I kept refusing the draw, he complained that he had never had a drawn game on Chess.com so thought I should give him one because of that. Maybe if he was my brother...

...and not too heavy?
