For the 1,000,000,000th. time.

hat likely happened is that you had a brief disconnect and the server may not have received your move.

The server is the keeper of the accurate time. With the lag compensation algorithms the times on the clients may not be accurate. That is why you may occasionally see clocks adjusted in games, even without increments.

I checked the analysis right after when the game finished it was clearly showing that my move was the latest one, but now that I reopened analysis it shows that he did the last move... guess there was a bug 🐜

You should probably review the site rules.

This is annoying. There really needs to be a forum FAQ with questions like this and a notice before starting a new topic to read the FAQ first. And that way any post like this gets removed.

A forum FAQ would just be another thing nobody reads like the TOS.

We could put the FAQ, and TOS in the NRT (Nobody Reads This) section.

Doesn't matter. It creates a standard to delete posts like this.

Sorry but internet is not the cause of EVERYTHING. When not being able to move pieces, I can chat and cry that I CANNOT MOVE. Still no help/ explanation.

What is TOS & where do I go to read it?

Most things are here: https://www.chess.com/legal

But some additional rules are listed in the forums:  https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/chesscom-posting-rules

And Off-Topic has some other, slightly more lenient rules.

You sure your opponent sees those chats? Because, when you are disconnected, you can type in messages and hit enter. They show up in the client but don't get sent. If the client realizes you are disconnected, then you'll see an option to resend.
