Hanger 18 🚀
incredible puzzle, i loved it. i took a few missteps, but overall i did quite well, it was beatiful, fun and educational, thank you. have you done any more puzzles?
My friends thank you all for your kind words. I am very pleased that you appreciate "Hanger 18" composition. Indeed it also very dear to me, since it fits the criteria I usually aim for, which is; to make a puzzle that is more than the chess rules, and rarely it is made this harmoniously.
I was inspired by the Megadeth song "Hanger 18" to make a puzzle about the celestial impression.
And as for how long it took to make it, well I can say it took quite some time to make this. Initially it was 14 moves and suddenly it downed on me as how to shape it so that the queen returned back to h3. My good friend Master @Arisktotle told me that these type of ideas are called "switchback" & "rundlauf".
This puzzle was done many years ago 7-8 years maybe, however I shared it here last year.
And as for other puzzles I have composed, here are some links to some of them in the forum:

This is my best "eclectic work" as a chess-puzzle-composer. I posted it at exactly the 18 of Nov 2024. Yet it went under the "radar" of those who are scanning the firmament across the chess.com's forum.
This puzzle is called "Hanger 18" a mimesis of the celestial world.
