This is so unprofessional of St. Louis Chess club. I marvel at their pettiness.

When a club is being billed for thousands of dollars of damages to a hotel room the club rented (for the player to use) it doesn't seem that petty and the unprofessionalism doesn't seem to come from the club.

I don't think you know exactly what you're talking about. The bill was never billed to the club, Hans was directly fined.. I don't know where you found this egregious lie from.

They should be trying to improve talents as in their core statements

I think Hans is the type who likes the limelight, and since his current tournament participations have not brought in enough media reactions he is the sort that will hit the youtube to rake in that attention he so desperately seeks, I do feel he could become a great player, but to do so 1.) He has to put the work in 2.) He needs to conduct himself properly at events then he may be invited back!!

It's strange how chess.com refused to cover the 2023 World Junior Championship that by a coincidense Hans Niemann attended.. it seems something fishy is going on no

Are you a member of his fan club.....or are you Hans?

"Let's make one detail absolutely clear, I received 0 invitations to STL Events, before I regretably caused damage to my hotel room."

"We should focus on why they refuse to pick up my calls and discuss things openly and honestly."

"I have been attacked and blacklisted from absolutely every angle. I will not be silenced, and I will ensure that the truth prevails."

"Hans, we broke up a year ago."

"You have no right to treat me this way. Give me one good reason you haven't text."

"Hans I'm calling the police."

"Last week I called you 100 times and left many voice mails apologizing for cheating on you, and I graciously paid the court fine for stalking you!"

[calling the police]

"You can't treat me like this! I'm America's most handsome chess player!"

You've quite obviously been accused of stalking before, and may even have had some lass call the the cops on you.

Though you're probably still under 18 now, I'd love to see the look on you're face if folk sabotage your career some day, then clown you when you protest.

Yeah, so far. Here are the results. These matches (other than the speed championship online matches) were scheduled mainly because of the invitations drying up but he's winning all of them. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/hans-niemann-is-legitimate-top-10-right-now-discuss

Hans is a favorite of mine, he was wronged big time by the world of chess. He has a bad attitude at times and as such gets a bad rep at times, but he is a amazing chess player who deserves to be recognized despite the bad attitude. He is a top ten if not a top five and deseves some respect after everything he has been through imo.

Rustedlongsword

He isn't getting all the invites he deserves imo, is he here to play chess or clean his hotel room? Chess fans should be outraged by the way Hans has been screwed over imo...

My top three are Magnus, Hans, Hikaru....Do you put the best against the best or do we worry about social justice over chess? Thats my opinion.

Another thing worth mentioning is that Hans is in the final 4 of the best online blitz players in the world. In case anyone thinks that's luck or that the top players weren't participating, simply look at all the players in the bracket & realize that everyone of the top players participated. Also, these are matches, not a swiss or RR, a player can get lucky in a few games here & there to finish well in a swiss or RR but not a match over dozens of games. My prediction is he'll lose his match against Magnus but even reaching the top 4 says everything. Also, compare that result to his 3 serious classical match results against Giri, Vitiugov, & Bacrot, along with the rapid & blitz results against all those players. That's a clear pattern that shows he's one of the top players already & clearly deserves invites to top events.
