The Hart House Chess club will be hosting the Reading Week Open on the family day weekend in February again this year. The tournament will be 6 rounds, with 2 rounds each on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Our website has not yet been updated with all the details so I've essentially copied and pasted the flyer here. Note that both the Open and U2200 sections are FIDE rated.

Please help us out by registering early and RSVPing to the facebook event. It's an open event so you can invite your facebook friends as well: http://www.facebook.com/events/166936563409876/

Looks like another very strong field. Already we have 4 IM's signed up:

IM Nikolay Noritsyn: http://chess.ca/noritsyn-nikolay
IM Bindi Cheng: http://chess.ca/cheng-bindi
IM Peter Vavrak: http://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?event=14901080

But don't let that intimidate you! The tournament is open to all ages and skill levels and there are hefty class prizes to be won in each section

Note also that we are rating the Open and U2200 section with FIDE this time around.
