Try the "Settings" menu in Live Chess and the "Filters" tab.
After you have set the min and max, click "Save".

I dont see a Save button
"Save Settings". It's a big orange button on the bottom of theSettings page.
Thanks. Imamnged to find him just once and set the miunimum rating for match at 1600. Still I get to play with payers with a lower rating. How come?
I set the filter to Min 1600
Still I get a lot of low rated opponents as if there was no filter.
When I abort them the idiot that runs this site deducted 10 points from my rating. Whos he at all?
How do I get the filter to work?
Thx and a happy new year
@bertmanxxx - the new logic should continue trying to match you as long
as your seek range includes a Min of at least -25 (relative to your current rating),
and the Max is at least +25.
Basically the new default pairing logic looks for close matches around
your rating - literally in a circle that widens as time passes. You can take
(somewhat reduced) advantage of the quickness of that system, even
if you put caps on your opponents' rating, provided you allow that
minimum span of +/- 25.
Look for member "baddogno". He's very friendly and helpful with everything.
Of course sometimes he hasn't a clue (like now). Seems like notmtwain has it covered though.
hahahahahahaha, I knew there was a way. I thought if ANYBODY knows, dog does I just assumed it was a newbie question. Now I see the OP's been here for a while, sorry.
I could not find a save button to save Min and Max Rating or anything else for that matter.
Please advise
