Has anyone ever played a brilliant move??
I've played 5 brilliant moves so far. But according to answers I got from this post , the brilliant moves you see in game review are rating adjusted, meaning the lower your rating, the more generous the system is when classifying your move, and vice versa! So for a beginner like me (800-850), it is easier to get one. There are also brilliant moves that are more 'objective' and is not rating adjusted, meaning it would be brilliant even for a gm player. They show up on your insights page, and I finally played my first one (12. Qa5) in this game
.
Here it is, ladies and gentlemen....
Yes. 18. Nc6... My opponent stalled for 7 minutes and offered a draw before accepting he had to give up his queen in order to prevent checkmate.
Once in lifetime i played a brilliant move according to that chess app but unfortunately just after some moves i lost that games after analysing that game i just see that i played continuously 3 bluders after that brilliant move. so u can say that 1 brilliant moves = 1 blunder game was go on
I actually got a brilliant move with just 300 ELO, and I’m pretty happy about it, even if I have like 50 mistakes and blunders LOL.
Here is the match.

33. Bxd7 is classified as brilliant by thr game analysis engine
Yes I can remember 1 game I had a brilliant move. I think this is becaue the engine thinks x moves ahead and after the next move it worked that as a result of your move the x move you made was better rated then what it would have had when analysising x moves ahead. I believe that is how it comes up as a brilliant move.
Had a random last seconds brilliancy that won me the game mostly luck that i saw it quick enough before i lost on time (6 seconds left). The fork sacrifice of the knight wins me the queen into a mate.
If queen is sacrificed, I can capture on the queen and the rook but i will need to make sure not to blunder anything.

I have 3 brilliant move for now, I started playing just this year the other 2 brilliant mves we're accidents and this is the only brilliant move where I saw how I can end the game.

This thread always makes me think of this :-
A brilliant move? No-ones ever seen a brilliant move, let us see the brilliant move.......
