Actually the entire game of chess can be broken into real life situations and the earlier you do this the better because it gives a strong sense of control.
If in a game of chess it was allowed to stay on one square for two pieces(black and white) then the game would always end in a draw. Example of a real life situation: If ninjas were fighting ninjas and all ninjas were like ghosts (no physical contact when they meet) then how can anyone win?
