It has happened, players have died at the chess board, usually from a heart attack.
You get the win.

The Survivor wins. Simple logic. The dead player's clock would flagged down if game isn't stopped.

I would claim a win but would be "big enough" not to require his rating to go down or mine to go up...

The Dead Man’s Defense has a long checkered history in correspondence play. When my opponent is dragging things out, I let them know that I am healthy and that only go into rough neighbourhoods fully armed.

He means "get poisoined" btw, I think the game should be a dead draw if your opponent died in OTB tourney.
