When you are talking about Opening, you are referring to Whites first couples moves. Reference to defense is Blacks first few moves. Attack means that you have the advantage & trying to use it. Thanks

I've learned quite at bite already. Its these games that take a few days to complete.I lose my way around the game. I have to learn to look at the game & take my time.
