Help breaking bad habits

Reaching out for advice on how to quit using blitz tactics in bullet game or G15 or 30 whatever the case may be. Rather frustrating. I have somehow managed to fall in this slump for quite awhile now. Not calculating enough and taking positions for granted that seem familiar that aren't. I have tried and tried but I find myself repetitively doing this which is leading to leaving pieces hanging and struggling to construct winning positions. It seems like a simple thing to overcome. Refrain from negative remarks.

I suggest you play daily chess with long time controls and look at your positions/play through possible continuations on the analysis board several times until you are confident that you see everything. If you are playing G15 or G30 I guess really it is just a case of self-discipline in using the time to try your best to calculate as accurately as you can, rather than looking at a position superficially without digging into it.
