Help in testing my new software

Hello friends,

i have made a opening repertoire buider & trainer software that i want to distribute for free.

last time i announce the software many ppl said that they encounter problems at the download... running it etc. and i tried to fix some of the issues.

so, before i announce it again - if you have time - check my website, download and try it - and please let me know about any problems you may find.

Okay, so I have downloaded the 64-bit and installed it on my computer, but when I try to start the application I get an error screen that the program is not functioning.

Downloaded and running fine.

But I go into training mode, and the only option I get is to play the Ruy Lopez, and only for 3 moves?

The tutorial just seems to point out the buttons without explaining the functionality.

I have solved the issue with the program not starting up. I use windows 7 and I had to set my UAC to the lowest level and after rebooting the program is running.

Agree with Scottrf, a manual or instructions with words explaining what to do with the program would be helpful.

you think the website is not explain enough? ok... wrote that to me. have you tried the tutorial in the upper menu?

about the training thing - you train on what you put inside the program. first you build your repertoire and enter comments for yourself and then you train it. the main purpose of this program is to slowly build your repertoire by learning you make and you wont want it to forgot.

you say actually that you didnt enter moves at all and then train it and the ruy lopez appear??? wierd...

Ah! I get it now. You input the moves, click train and then it will recreate the moves in the line.

But no, the tutorial doesn't explain it, just shows the buttons.

Still just crashes for me when trying to start it.

You need to run the program with the UAC (user account control) set to the lowest value. Then it works fine. Not really sure if I would recommend this to you as a standard setting, but if you want to run the program then this is the solution. I have tried it and it works. Afterwards I deleted the software because it isn't really that much insightful/helpful and reset UAC to the normal level.

I have UAC turned completely off.
