HELP ME

Thursday is play against old people and I'm 15, but that's not the actual problem. I need a good opening (for white and black) I took some book openings from the library like kingsindian attack and Pirc and modern defence (Pirc and modern defence is one book) do you mean it's enough to beat the old people ? I'll be without friends over there to get help from them :(

but in tournament also there is a limited elo what is that limit 1400 1600 or what standard you have idea what strength old man will be there😀

monkeychess09

if they are 1500 range you can get too good openings and beat them

LovelyNecklace

no It only says in a difference of 200 dwz (its german, i dont know what its called in englisch) you play 20 min (if you are lower) and do the opponent 10 min. a difference of 400 dwz you get 23 min and the old man 7 min

its totally looks stupid but if they are in 1500 or 1600 range that is good but if they are 1800 or 2000 no one can help then are you sure you dont know the old people elo range

You'll love it.

If that is how your tournament is organized, you will want to exploit (ausnutzen) the extra time you are given. If the tournament isn't too far away, I suggest trying to use symmetrisch openings, and save most of your extra time when things get kompliziert.

Viel Glueck!

LovelyNecklace

haha :D thanks tatsumakironyk for the translation on german ^^
