Help me increase my rating
From my experience teaching, most players just need to really master the key principles — everything else builds naturally from there.
I’m stuck at a 1000 rating for half a year now. I win five games in a row and then lose five in a row, and I end up at the same rating again. Can anyone help me improve my rating?
Do you feel that you are not progressing because of chess tilt, or because of missing "something" with your chess?
If tilt, then you should check out my playlist:

If it's something objective to chess, then key principles are a great place to start; opening principles being a common one: https://www.chess.com/blog/KeSetoKaiba/opening-principles-again
However, it's also important to not cling to these principles as strict rules. They are more like strong "guidelines" to help you think in a better direction, but just about everything in chess has exceptions and especially if your opponent violates these principles, then you may need to exploit this by breaking some "principles" yourself (although also often is following principles when they break them). As with most chess decisions, "it depends."
We can even play unrated chess sometime @JugantarNag if you would like friendly advice tailored to you after the game(s) ![]()
