help me please

exagerating much?
anyways, you can play any opening you want Without theory if you take a few simple hours to figure out
- What is the primary aim of the opening (space, kingside attack, etc)
- What are some of the strategic themes of your opponent
- Where should you typically develop most of your peices
- Lastly are they are any typical traps in this opening
this idea that the CZ is Better because there's no theory to it. Wrong. All openings collect "theory". and most theory is abosulately useless for patzers.
you should be thrilled, if your opponent has wasted many hours looking at the 'theory' of a chess opening you are playing. that's all the more likely that he is tactically unprepared. make things complicated and win!

also, "help" you do what?
it seems to me you just want to tell all of chess.com that the Colle is better for patzers which, IMHO, is not true.

....please can anyone suggest an opening based on the openings I already play?
ok.
op your not making a lot of sense to me. so let me try to say it simple
- First, you have to play an opening, but you Don't need to know its name or memorize moves.
- Next, you should try to play a good opening, one where you get your peices developed and you control the center? but do you need to Know theory to do this?? NO.
- Is there anything wrong with the Colle Zukertort? NO
- Is there any reason to Stop playing the CZ? NO. though you need to know something as black
- you want to do something smart if white play d4. d5 and e6 or c6.... followed by Nf6 and some kind of finachetto.
- you want to NOT play into unsound openings and trap lines, and in this Case there is one: look up the Marshall Attack- you do NOT want to play the marshall attack as black.
- Even here the idea is to understand What is wrong with it, NOT to memorize lines. in the marshall attack black allows white to seize the center. and the magic rule in chess in to try to control (or block) the center.
good luck.
You can play a colle-zukertort setup as black. When you do this as black it will be called the semi-slav, but anyway, it's a safe and easy way to survive the opening phase.
If you check the semi slav stuff on youtube, you'll probably find some sharp theoretical lines. Those are unnecessary, you can just play d5 e6 c6 Nf6 Bd6 Nbd7 0-0 b6 Bb7. You don't need to do the crazy lines where you capture on c4. Obviously your opponent wont be playing theoretical stuff anyway. Just be sure to get your knights and bishops off the back rank quickly and castle and you'll do fine.

well, why is this not good advice?
play the Semislav against 1.d4 as Mr digital suggests. its the same set up as a colle-zukertort. but you play it as black against 1.d4

Openings are a choice. No one can tell YOU what to play. No i will not ignore your rating, as you have been here a year and a half. In that time you have played over 1000 games of blitz, 2 games of standard chess.
You want people to tell you what openings to play, and yet you dont even follow Opening Principles. Youre misisng simple tacttics, and hanging pieces. Openinsg are the least of your concerns regarding improvement.
But considering this question is asked to death, and youre looking for people to tell you what you want to hear, and not what you need to hear. Play any opening you want, and good luck.

well, here's the dilly, pawn.
if someone wants you to tell them what opening to play. you pick any ole name they hint at, and they think your a genius.
its easy cheezy.

I was going to suggest the Lightening Bolt Attack. It sounds cool...it has the word "attack" in it, and it sounds agressive.

I would suggest the "Magical Response to d4 That Guarantees Black Will Win Every Time" opening. I think I saw it in the latest MCO...

Yea but does magical sound cooler than agressive?
