I don’t like gambits. For me it’s the same like scolars mate (Hope chess), just at higher level. I strongly disbelieve that your opponents would fall for the evans gambit at this level. I don’t know the other ones. If you seek for improvement, I would recommend not to do it.
Help me to improve my blitz rating
People think to improve in blitz you need to play a lot of blitz
It’s not true… to improve in blitz you need to get better at chess. The easiest way to do that is to play longer time controls and read chess books. This is basically the same advice I tell anyone
#22 but the Evans gambit is played even at the highest levels. It's not hope chess, for the pawn you get a good position. And Queen's Gambit would also be hope chess? And Benko gambit?
Hope chess means playing something BAD and hoping that the opponent blunders his advantage away. The queens gambit is not bad. The evan‘s gambit is.
I have a similar problem. I can't seem to break 600 in blitz. My main focus is more rapid, but still

you shouldn't be playing quicker time controls
focus on rapid and when youve made a significant gap between rapid and blitz, progressing there will be a lot easier
#34 'My main focus is more rapid' I have 750 rapid games and 400 blitz. Is 120 enough of a gap btw?
i mean a gap where blitz becomes a for fun time control like every game is like a walk in the park like get to 1000 first before you touch blitz otherwise many of your moves wont really make sense and also do NOT touch bullet until youve hit 1000 it will wreck your improvement even up here at 1900 bullet games still dont make sense
Play quirky, but not stupid moves. It makes your opponent think more and puts you in a positive time duel
