This project seems to be a little bit suspicious. In solving chess puzzles, an ounce of chess knowledge is better than a ton of general education. How are you supposed to filter that effect out?
Help Two Master's Students with a Thesis on Chess Puzzles (2-Minute Survey)

There seems to be something similar already in another post, just in german and about people who go to tournaments and their experiences: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/umfrage-schachturniere
Not sure if its somehow connected or not.

Hi, in the survey we ask for chess experience, which will be used as a control variable later in the analysis!
