Help with endgame drill

In an effort to get better, I've started doing the drills on chess.com. I've been stuck on one particular drill (King and Pawn Endgame: Active King) for a few days now. Here's how the battlefield is set up: the white King is on C4. He has pawn on f4 and one on g4. The black king is on G7. He has a pawn on f7 and one on g6. The drill has me going first and playing as white. I've plugged the position into a chess engine, and I've seen white win. I just don't understand the strategy behind his moves. Can someone please explain to me the process you would go through to beat this? To what square am I trying to get my king? How do I go about forcing Zugzwang? Where does triangulation come into play?

i vaguely remember that drill and it was tough
my help, rough as it is, is to tough it out
it make take a few dozen attempts but you will get it eventually

the learning is in failing the drill over and over and you will begin to see the big picture
the reason i know this is i asked my coach pretty much the same advice on the same problem/drill
and he told me what i am telling you

the thing that helped me was not to try and beat it in one sitting- if i wasnt getting it i would walk away and try again later
i remember that drill took me a few weeks to get

You sound so much like Miyagi. "Patience, grasshopper." Lol. In all seriousness, thank you for your reply. I have been working on it pretty regularly for a few days now. I'll take a break and come back to it.

i went and tried it again and fouled up a couple of times and then got it again
it's like a combination of the zugzwang and triangulation drills
you'll get it for sure

and i think the endgame drills are one of the best things on this site fwiw
good luck
