Help with learning strategy for attacking.

I would classify myself as a beginner and I would feel my game needs improvement on attacking. Of the games I win it’s usually when I mount a strong offense . Can someone please recommend a study guide or general guideline when to start attacking as opposed to getting out in the middle.
Controlling the centre definitely, but just aiming your bishops where the opponents king will go and developing your knights to c3 and f3 as white and c6 and f6 as black (so just the normal moves for them) and just use tactics like pins and forks, which you can improve on by doing puzzles. Hope that helps, and I could try playing a daily game with you if you want!
