I'm going to a tournment in january.... and while reading the information that was giving to me ( tournment ) I need help trying to understand this

5SS, 40/90, SD/30 + 30” incr, (Rnd 1 G/90 +30” incr) (2-day schedule: rds. 1-2 G/45+30"incr) U1400 & U1100 G/120 d5 (2-day option, rds. 1-2 G/60 d5

Time controls I think.

It's a 5 round Swiss System (5SS) with a time control of 40 moves in 90 minutes (40/90), followed by a sudden death time addition of 30 minutes with 30 second increments after move 40 (SD/30 + 30" incr).  Round one has a seperate time control of the game in 90 minutes plus 30 second increments (Rnd 1 G/90 + 30" incr). If playing the two-day tournament schedule, rounds 1 and 2 will have a time control of game in 45 minutes plus 30 second increment (2-day schedule: rds 1-2 G/45+30" incr).  The sections playing rated under 1400 and under 1100 have their own time control of game in 120 minutes with a 5 second delay (U1400 & U1100 G/120 d5), and these two sections have a two-day option, with time controls for rounds 1 and 2 at game in 60 minutes with a 5 second delay (2-day option, rds. 1-2 G/60 d5).  Does that clear it up for you?
