You just select the play 'live' potion. You can also modify what level you want to play, for how long and some graphics could changes. To play the longer online games , the ones that you are allowed more time to play, you just select the online option, but you will need just make yourself available. It helps to make a few friends too in the online games mode.

Good luck, and it is a very good app, they update it quite regularly. You can also sync it with an iPad, iPhone or your PC. But I recommend the iPad, and choose the large settings for board, that way it will give you the latest UI for playing games.
