I am in a otb tournament and I have just been informed that I am the highest rated in the group I am in.

would you rather be lowest rated or highest rated or somewhere in between.

I think it is better to be lower rated because you can surprise.

now I have to win...

Depends on how much difference there is between the players, are we talking a rating difference of 300, or 30?

trysts

the span is between 1100 and 1422. but there is a problem I have to meet a 1332 player who last year was fide 1645.

he won against GM Lars Schandorff in a simul and drew against GM Henrik Danielsen. He has a elo rating 1756.

I think I have a problem.
