Highest rating rapid account from low rating?

recently, I went to the leader board wondering who has the highest rating in rapid, it's obvious it filled with rated chess player, what shocked me was that the from the highest (2900s) to lowest rank (2500s) player only play at most 100s rapid game. my question are, is there a rapid player who raises their rating from low rating, what their highest rating; and is 2400 a limit for rapid in chess.com, like after 2499 all opponents most likely will be lower rating? note : 1. I'm not accusing someone cheating. 2. I only check some players who don't have fide rank.

Is at your rating, do you often getting lower rating opponents than your or is you still sometimes get higher rating opponents than yours?

I think there's more variance, meaning i face players who are much higher or much lower than me. but i think on average I get opponents of equal strength

I wouldn't be surprised if this changes as I reach to 2500 though, as there are almost no players in the playing pool at that level

I am between 2400-2500, but I don't play a lot. For me it sometimes takes some time to get a game, because there are not that many players.

I don't have a fide rating, but my national is similar to 2200 fide and my blitz is 2500 (2600 peak).
