Kasparov beat Nakamura a couple times in a recent blitz tournament. Seeing how:
1) Nakamura is strongest when playing blitz
2) Kasparov is in his 50's and retired, while Nakamura in his 20's and in his prime
Kasparov from 20 years ago was almost certainly stronger than Nakamura today. It would be a competitive match of course, but Garry would have the edge.

Old Kasparov cannot beat Naka in a match but can score upset win. Old Tal and Korchnoi did it.

It would be interesting to see them playing a few 3 minute games. !0 - 30 minutes would be good as well. Maybe one problem with chess is that perhaps people take it a bit too seriously. Like they have these big reputations to stand behind, especially the higher ranks. Although maybe everyone's taking it not too seriously.
