English has also many loan word from Greek language, but you can't say English is Greek language. Psychology
history of chinese chess

Interestingly, the word "abandon" also present in both English and French. But you can't say English is a French language descendent

All you children just say things, without a line of logic.
ok boomer
Nice one haha

You still learn new things when old, live old to learn lol
Step by step logic. One piece at a time.
The Rook and the Chariot are identical in Indian Chess and Chinese Chess.
Which is the original and which is the copy?
The word abandon in French and English , which one is being copied? Who modified the original definition of the word abandon?

Is English language the descendant of French language? Try to ask any French people this question on the street.

The logic of the questions is same as mine,
The word "abandon" in French and English , which one is being copied? Who modified the original definition of the word abandon?

Hence is English language the descendant of French language? Try to ask any French people this silly logic on the street.

The logic of the questions is same as mine,
The word "abandon" in French and English , which one is being copied? Who modified the original definition of the word abandon?
I ask you first.
Answered you in the same logic question
Is English language the descendant of French language? Who copied the word "Abandon" from who?

@JessieWong
I'm asking you point blank. If you don't answer. I'm not going to talk to you anymore.
Step by step logic. One piece at a time.

I have answered your questions with the same logic question back.
Is English language the descendant of French language? The word "Abandon" in English and french has the identical spelling, but who is the original? Who copied the word "Abandon" from who?
You knew the answer I know, I don't mind to remind you again though. Lol

the chariot is inherited from indian chess, so is the king, so is the advisor, so is the knight. however, there are major differences in terms of the board, the number of pieces and also the cannon

The word abandon in French and English , which one is being copied? Who modified the original definition of the word abandon?
@caimzri1h answer my question, so I will answer your question as promised.
Any time a word is in both French and English, 95% of the time it came from French > to English. English is a borrower. It borrows from everywhere.
I also think it was from the Norman Invasion, 1066, I think.
Nice , so which means French influence English language a lot in vocabulary. But at the same time, English isn't the descendent of French language. Merci

By the way your statement about " The Rook and the Chariot are identical in Indian Chess and Chinese Chess."
That statement is false, in Indian chess rook piece isn't even look identical to Chariot in Xiangqi. Plus the Elephant in Xiangqi isnt moved the same as the elephant in Indian chess. Both are same animals but different moves.
Correction: The Chinese made many modification to their Xiangqi by adding piece originally from Indian chess and add more new rules from dynasties to dynasties, evolve into what's now Modern Xiangqi.
You saying doesn't make it true.
You don't have a line of logic.
many genius additions make a heavily modified game
