Officially, it's for "aspiring saints." Basically, it's a group for those who want to be holier and want use chess to that end. :)
I don't mean to be rude, but emmmmm, the group is for extremist christians, right? Finding God in everything?

It could just be that when you play holy chess, you are not discharging insults when you lose , or if some one does not resign soon enough to suit you, and maybe its all about just being friendly, so when you lose you feel happy losing to another good human being!

Jazo23, it's not at all just for extremist Christians. The point is that whatever you do, if you do it for God, is a prayer. Or, another way to look at it is that whatever you do, you do it to improve yourself and make the world a better place. (and don't worry about being rude; I'd rather people were just honest about what they thought - thank you!)

GhostNight - exactly! There's all sorts of ways to look at it.

The pic was against christianity, not the OP. In fact, if I based my opinion of christianity on the smiling, "nice" peeps who advocate it, I would never see the baboon's ass.

Yes it is. It also has an inner meaning, but I'm not sure you want to go there. At least not outside of church...
Hmmm... it'd probably be more appropriate to go "in" somewhere outside of church, when you think about it....
