Holy crap! Daniel Naroditsky performed a N and B mate with seconds remaining in a blitz game!

I wonder if instead of continually trying to move the king away from the corner the defender had thrown in a spanner by say 84. Kb1 instead of 84. Kd1 if that would have helped break Naroditsky's technique - it would then be a mate in 6 rather than mate in 8, however practically speaking Naroditsky would have to find Be3 and end up moving his king to c2 - as it is his king never left the 3rd rank. There's a video of even Hikaru being unable to find the mate in over 2 minutes so definitely tough mate especially with the 50 move rule in mind.
