They recreated the pairings using FIDE rules and the pairing software. The pairings were legit.

Well I Do! And this may come as a shock to you but I do have fide rating too.
And please don't start a thread and ask for others opinions when you are just gonna ask them to sleep if they are contradicting you.
You are not contradicting me, you are just saying stuff without any argument, because let me tell you, surprise surprise, anecdotal claims are worthless. Show us your FIDE card and show us the pairings in the tournaments you played in, then prove to us they were artificially changed. Or, go to sleep!

Yes, pairings can and often are manipulated to some extent in non-FIDE rated events. i.e. not pairing siblings.
But FIDE has stricter rules since norms are possible.

A random internet sissy blocked me because I disagreed with his points, so I will refute his whole thread in this thread.
He basically says the ratings are suspicious because the odds of getting those pairings are one in a thousand.
My question is, how does that prove the pairing were manipulated? If the possibility is there it can happen.
The odds of a plane crashing are one in 1.2 million, yet just recently on December a plane crashed, so, going by that sissie's logic, should we all go nuts and say the plane crash was on purpose because the odds are low?
How would you refute my argument?
