Houdini's ELO rating, how much accurate?

Hi everyone,

I've recently downolaed Houdin and played some practice game (20 or 40 min for 40 moves). Also, I adjusted its rating to 1900 or 2000 ELO rating, but I wonder how much its system of rating is accurate, I mean comparable to ELO real system of categorizing chessplayers? Any idea or reliable link about it?

Thanks

P.S. First, I searched and found some related topics, but as far as I saw, I couldn't one exact and fact-based reply.

Thanks for your reply but I mean something else. You can adjust Houdini in a way that for example its rating is 2000 or anything and I do so, but I don't know how accurate its system of ELO rating is.

Why do you care about it's actual rating?

And- in any case, a real rating is an evaluation number for games played against individuals- if the games are played against other engines, then the rating has very little, if any, significance.

Probably he is trying train again a chess engine of ELO 1900. So he needs to set it to that strength. But I think even at 1900, the engine is soo strong.
