how am i suposed to learn from attempting tactics trainer...?

you get one chance to move a piece, and there is only one correct move, okay that wouldn't be such a bad idea for some training if it wasn't for one problem, you move the wrong piece and it instantly says "WRONG"and pops up a new tactic for you to solve, without any indication of what you did wrong or what was the right move, before you can even start to think about the move you just made, there is another tactic to look at!!! even if the move you made was good, but not the best move, you get failed instantly.

perhaps a better structure for the tactics trainer would be to give you a score based on how good your move was, and after you move, it tells you the best move and why is was the best move. this would likely be 10x more fun and increase your skills better.

Deirde, the other person is suggesting for this certain case... not just another option.

I tried to copy and paste the Setting for Tactic Trainer that slows down the freight train, but it wouldn't copy.  Anyway as CM Coleman suggested:Home>Settings>TacticTrainer.
