Why don't chess.com give us some answers?
how are points allocated
@notmtwain but this is the most popular![]()
@FedorFighter I've received before [1-2 months??] some points back for cheating [and thats good of course
], but if you connect this change at +4 ps with some fair play policy, it doesn't make much sense... you mean discouraging playing for points?? But that is rated games!
On the other hand if its a chess.com choice and not a bug [as @notmtwain is saying as possibility here] , it seems a little unfair, as the existing ratings have been built on a previous doubled point rating system, and now the point diff is actually doubled, without earning it. Anyway, lets wait for some more "official" reply
@introuble2 I only meant that some changes were implemented, so somebody might have started working. I hate this new point system and find it unfair as well, so hope it is only a bug.
I'm glad I haven't played a single live or daily game here.
So you are just here because...?
@Morphysrevenges Even if it is the glicko, it was not implemented earlier, so the whole problem is practically new. It is not a coincidence that everybody came out with this right now, is it?
I am beating 2000+ opponents and getting 4 points for it.Why this things are happening when I am in good form.

Because it is a bug. (See above.)
Oh calm down, dramaqueen.
