This is a suggestion.. and one which might seem a little unfair but it could be interesting. I was wondering if perhaps, higher rated players could have more 'point weight' to their votes? I.e if a 2500 player votes, for instance, his vote could possibly be worth 4 points, for instance, whereas an 600 player would be worth 1.
I know it would probably seem rather unbalanced, but it could be an easy way to eliminate 'drive by' voters, as you say.
Of course, the question arises, what rating should be used? Blitz.. bullet.. standard.. well, it's a thought anyways.
