How can I be blocked?

I attempted to post a VERY relevant comment in a thread and it says I am blocked from posting in that thread. Must be the OP? 

I have not posted in that particular thread before. 

If somebody blocks u u can't post on anything they have started

It's also possible that your opinion of women in chess got you blocked.  Any time you have to use the phrase "I'm not a ______ but,"  it's reasonable indicator that you are _______.
