Reaching 1500 can be a big milestone! I reached it sometime in May, and boy it’s been a struggle ever since.

In the opening, try to find something your comfortable with. Although people say not to spend lots of time working on your opening, I strongly disagree based on my own personal experiences. By now, your “style” of play should start to emerge- what kind of positions do you like? Closed, open, semi-closed? Do you handle STF imbalances well? Are you good with having more time and less force? More space and less time? All of this should factor into what kind of opening you should play. I recommend you dabble here and there a lot with different openings- do whatever leads you to a comfortable middlegame you like.

In the middlegame, obviously you need to keep working on puzzles, but positional play starts to emerge. Positional play is, at it’s roots, playing to position your pieces onto better squares, and your opponents on to worse ones. This also brings in pawn play- an advanced concept, but once mastered will skyrocket your rating into the expert level and beyond. You don’t need to go too deep, but start familiarizing yourself with the basic concepts- outposts, weak squares, weak pawns, and open files & diagonals. The best way to learn about this is with books- I recommend Simple Chess be your first. It introduces these concepts (and some others I am probably forgetting) and shows them in master games, where you’ll also see how they are intertwined with each other and tactics. Other good books are any of Silman’s middlegame books, Yusupov’s Tigersprung series, and Jason Aagaard’s Excelling at Positional Chess, which is more of a work book to apply what you learn from other books like simple chess.

Endgame knowledge is often overlooked, but once you start to near 1500, it’s crucial to become an endgame machine, especially since more and more games are getting down to endgames. Learn the Lucena and Philidor position, and videos can be very helpful on understanding how to handle rook and Queen endgames, the ones I struggle with most, as well as less common endgames such as 2 bishops or bishop vs knight. Silman’s complete endgame manual is what I use (in addition to tactical endgames), but I’ve heard great things about “100 endgames you need to know” if you want to try that one out to.

Desktop live stream means you stream what's on your screen not webcam, also you can use bots that play fast or show the eval bar or some cheat like that even in bullet I'm pretty sure

If I am mad in this text sorry because I tilted my last games. Hanging pieces are only part of the study you have positional chess(to note I put weaknesses and pawn structure into positional) and some attacking and some tactics afterwards. Here are the things that happen in 2000+. Positional play, then attack, then tactics, then hanging pieces so that means in games hanging pieces go last in the game so that means you have to put priority to the others before hanging pieces. And before ya say it that you have chomped on hanging pieces up to 2400 I bet you learned more right. You learned about positional play, attacking, tactics. Now if you didn’t know that and you were just throwing pieces to e9 or sometin then something tells me that you can’t just throw pieces around to get to 2400. Now for hangingpieceschomper giving no advice given that they are literally 2400 and that they can really actually give more advice then just saying that and me over here has to suffer actually typing here instead of doing something useful with my useless life because I really care about the community and you definetly don’t. If you say that you chomped pieces up to 2400 how can I now do that too. Do you have Dream level luck or am I just bad at chess and I bet you will answer that I am just bad at chess even though you don’t know my background and you would cry if I was undercover Magnus but I am not undercover Magnus don’t worry. You have to give because more you know and you should be more responsible than me because you are literally 1200 points higher than me.
