How can we become a GM in chess.com without outside playing or being famous?

I suppose I’ve heard that if you keep your rating above 2300 you get awarded a honorary title.
You cannot get any titles, including GM by playing on chess.com. You'll have to go to a LOT of FIDE rated tournaments, get a FIDE rating of 2500, and get 3 GM norms.
GM is a FIDE title. You can only achieve the title by playing in FIDE-sanctioned OTB tournaments played at classical (slow) time controls. You need to earn a rating of 2500 over around three tournaments (25 games, I think) which include a certain number of titled players from more than one national federation.
chess.com ratings are fun to have, but have nothin to do with titles.

May be if another pandemic comes and magically all FIDE events are played online on chess.com, otherwise you can't. You have to compete in FIDE tournaments and achieve the rating norms set by the Federation.
