Has anyone come across any research or articles on How how the colour and/ or size of the board on the screen may affect perception and therefore quality of play? We see such variations online with streamers, magazines and instructional video wth mostly blue, green or brown squares.
It would be interesting to see if any legitimate research has been done by any qualified cognitive scientist on that topic.
With online play the dominate form of chess, it would be useful to know.
