How come GMs are too snooty to post in the forums?

Yes, but they want specifically the GM to help them.

And I did not even mentioned the most silly questions they make such as "Hello, I am 22 and I am seriously considering pursuing a career in chess. I am 1187 rated right now, how long do you think it will take me to become a GM?"

thegreat_patzer

yes. natalie was active maybe the "first" time a question like this was asked

now after 2,344,567th nearly identical question-  she would rather just point out that she coaches.

No...what they want is for a GM to help them for FREE.

Pashak1989

Well yes, that is what I wrote in my previous post.

I am sure you would not.

Why wouldn't I? I already do if I have a chance, and I'm only an expert, imagine if I had a GM title. It'd be too easy to make fun of people, almost.

Dear Mr GM, I think yourecreally cute and I dream of someday sitting across from you and accidently brushing against your hand while we played chess. Could I have an autographed picture, I think I'll just cry forever if you don't sign it. ps please please please sign it to the next world master.

I'm all serioisness, it's not for the gms to come down to us, it's for us to climb to them

It was actually the weather.

Probably mixture of weather and vodka.

True, the frigid Russian winter crushed the Germans.

Ayumu the chimp probably makes fun of us, too. Can you remember as many numbers on a computer screen as he can? I can't, and if I remember right I did well on the Cambridge brain sciences website for that test.

It would be like making fun of blind people; I don't guess most GMs do it.

But the swarming blind bats evacuating a cave in THIS thread, soiling and shrieking, what you need to know about batshit is that it has fungus in it that can make you blind, too.

Why Americans will do anything to underestimate opponent?

Even if weather was a factor (it was), every one was cold. And it is hardly surprising to have sever continental winter, it happens each year. What is more of a surprise the enemy who just lost 1 million solders, 10 thousands of armour and thousand planes throws twice the number to next fight. Regardless the weather.

Bonsai you are a coward. I care not what you think. Go and block more people.

Love seeing you cry, that was the intent, mission accomplished. You need a tissue?

Im not underestimating any nation that helped.  Im simply pointing out that the weather was a major factor.  Germany was not acustomed to the Russian winters, while the Russian soldiers were.

Weather is no nicer in norway, sweden.  But they were cowards and the russians were not, THAT was the difference.

@GodPawn2016 well, I assure you there is more to it. And it was not cold that stopped Germans at first, it was rain and muddy roads. There was problem of provisions due to stretched lines, too good to be true Russian T34, fresh, well equipped, battle ready Siberian reinforcements, almost instant rise in insurgency, and many more "factors". i like when you saying "any nation that helped" addressing people who took out little more than 80% of Nazis in the field.
