LF, you said everything, man. While encouragement is healthy and necessary, fake encouragement for a poor-quality game is actually detrimental.
I don't mean phony flattery, but many people on here can't give constructive criticism without being rude. They enjoy telling people how bad they are, but never offer pointers.
