How could I lose a game after only two moves?

I just played a game today.  I was white.  I made one move, then black made one move.  I made a second move.  Black never er made a second move but the clock kept running.  I then went to my games and saw that the record showed that I had lost the game after only two moves.  Hows is that possible?  This has happened to me several times. Also, in several games I have lost my queen because of moves that I did not make.  My opponent got three moves to my one.   I call these "ghost", where I did not even touch anything. igt is like I just gave my queen away for free.  This is very frustrating and makes me want to quit chess.com.  any suggestions?

The game score shows black did make a second move and that you lost because you lost your connection.

If you have an example of these ghost moves, please post the score. I have never had that happen.

How do you connect? Website or phone app? Do you use wifi?

I did make my next move.  I got no notice that said that I lost my connection.  I play via wifi.  Could that be a problem?

My wifi is always strong but I do regularly get messages that I lost my connection, but my wifi, on this end, is always strong.

However, I NEVER lose my connection on any other websites.  What gives with chess,.com??
