He "brags " and analyze about his wins on IM and GM games that he won or played OTB on his chanel  (youtube) and not a single word about him getting a FM title or how he got it or anything like that .

I just find it a bit shady , don't you guys think?

Pretty sure it's all aboveboard. As posted before,  I believe the answer is that he qualified under previous regulations.

Yeah it's all just a guess. ...

But can we actually check an actual information on his fide card or something like that ?  I mean is there any way to check EXACTLY how he got it !? I mean it shouldn't be a secret if he legitimately got his title , why no one knows tho?  And every one just guesses?

I mean he's a well known streamer, chess.com staff, we'll known in the community person and YET no one knows EXACTLY how he got the title! ?

Also the reason I'm asking this again  is because already some time passed more then a month and we definitely should know by now.

There is no limitation currently on the time of application, and this guy did get his rating over 2300 a few years ago.

No ! I mean ye he did get his rating over 2300 barrier before , but it was provisional rating , so it didn't count.

So what? Even unpublished ratings may count for the title, under certain conditions.

Tha assumption that he has to pass 2300 after completing 30 rated games is wrong.

See 1.3.1 and 1.5.3a in the chapter of Title regulations of the FIDE handbook.

The provisional games requirement does not appear to have been in effect at the time he met the qualifications (see my first link in post #12)

Why this is so difficult and everyone is just guessing, is there a way to check EXACTLY how he got it without guessing?

I don't understand your post can you be more clear.

Do you mean now if someone joins a tournament plays like 10 rated games and get there rating over 2300 , so they can automatically claim FM title ?  Or..?

FIDE regulations change. In the document I linked to earlier in the thread, it does not appear there was a minimum number of games requirement in 2014 when he had the appropriate rating. I may have missed it, but if that is correct, then that would likely be how it was awarded.

It's also possible @pfren is correct. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be official supporting documentation from FIDE about it, other than the fact they list he has the title effective 2022.

Just to clear this up, the FIDE regulations on titles obtained through rating are:

https://handbook.fide.com/chapter/B012023

1.3 Titles may be gained by achieving a published or interim rating at some time (see 1.5.3a). For ratings achieved after 1st July 2017, the player must at that time have played at least 30 rated games:

1.3.1 FIDE Master ≥2300

Since Canty's 2300+ rating was before 1st July 2017, he's not subject to the requirement to have played 30 games.
