How did you beat Wally (the bot)?

Currently I'm trying to beat Wally.Can I know how you guys beat him?

i usually don't have a specific strategy to beat bots. normally i only play standard openings. as far as i am concerned Wally himself doesn't have a preferred style. but maybe its just me..since i usually don't play with him.

today, i played with him to test my strength against him after reading ur post...somewhat..i felt like he's playing better than his usual-self. maybe today is bots' good day. FYI, bots have good days and bad days too like humans.

looks like in their good days, every bot may respond with strong moves if you use mainstream openings. but they still make random mistakes.

wow. you got 4 draws!

The good thing is that these bots just sometimes out-blunder you!!   Here is a game where analysis says I had 92.6% accuracy with 5 inaccuracies and 4 mistakes (and my first "brilliant" move ever), but lichess said I had 3 mistakes and 4 blunders!!  Wally had 4 mistakes and 3 blunders according to the analysis here (lichess said wally had 7 blunders!).  If you look at the game I did play badly, but Wally just played worse.   I have beaten all the"advanced" bots, but I am sort of at the "Antonio" level.  Even when I beat Li, Li hung the queen (traded a rook+queen for my rook).  So the bots do blunder and pretty much that is the only way I can beat them.

I remembered to save the game this time, here it is, 15|10 time control.
