How difficult is it for a non-title player to beat a title player in chess

NM is 2400 rated so
NM is 2200+ USCF rating and although that might be around 2400 chess.com level, that number on chess.com isn't a requirement. OTB (in-person) ratings are 100% unrelated to online ratings and all titled players on chess.com get their title only by verifying their identity and in-person title to chess.com Staff.

Very easy, I won every game I played against a titles player on chess.com that wasn't my coach (1)
Is that sacarsm?

As someone who has beaten multiple titled players otb and online and is close to getting a title(hopefully end of 2023) getting a title doesnt suddenly make you a god at chess and while in general titled players are better than players without a title you should just use a rating calculator to decide the chance of you beating them.

I don't have a coach or no openings, famous players, they say I have no pricipals and just win on tactics. I beat at least two titled player in the two months I played on chess.com. I do play over 800 games a month though.

I beat titled players quite often (and lose to them quite often, too).
Though, beating masters in online blitz/bullet is completely different from beating them in OTB classical. One is considerably more difficult than the other ...

You won a national master once, but you lost the rest. Still impressive nonetheless.

i have won against titled players here, i think my wins were because the games were unrated or sometimes they are streamers chatting and not playing well. It is fun though

Lots of untitled players 2400+ on this site. My guess is they dont have the time or availability to play rated otb games and tournaments.

1900's sometimes have a GM scalp .its very rare but not unheard of. often happens in round 1s in opens. a 1900 somehow survives until an even endgame and the GM pushes thinking he can survive creating an incorrect but super hard to spot complication.
