How Do I Flatten My Chessboard?

It has hills and valleys on it right now. How do I make the board flat?

Is this a vinyl board?  I have found that it works best when you roll it up with the printed squares on the outside and the blank side on he inside. This feels counter-intuitive, but it works, It also helps if you always roll it up in the same direction--for example start rolling from rand 1 every time. This has worked very well for me

Sometimes also putting the board out flat and then placing several heavy books on it for a few days helps "flatten" out the wrinkles too.
