How do I get an actual FIDE rating?

Do I just e-mail them or do I have to call the head of FIDE to get one?

Also, how do they determine my rating? Do they just give me the benefit of the doubt and take my word for it? Or will they have  to access my Chess.com profile rating and base it on that?

FIDE will investigate your suspicious Chess.com account and say
FUGHEDOUBOUDIT!!

Non of the above!

You can get FIDE ratings either by playing in round-robin tournament or a team (swiss) tournament. 1) For an unrated player's first performance to count, he must play at least 3 games against rated opponents; score at least 1 point; and the rating based on the tournament result at its conclusion must be at least 1000.
Also see FIDE arena. Membership required.

Plus you'll have to play nine games in the next two years after getting a FIDE rating with FIDE rated people.

you have to play fide rated games. they wont just hand you a rating if you ask for one. find a fide rated tournament on google and join. when you play enough games you get a fide rating. fide rating is NOT based off your chess.com rating

I dunno... with a big enough bribe, I'm sure FIDE will just hand him a rating. Bidding opens at $10,000 US dollars.
