I'm nosing at 1000 here, the way I improve is doing tons of puzzles over at lichess, running practice games in a chess software called Kasparov's Gambit, and I watch a lot of chess videos on youtube for ideas.
keep solving puzzles and improve your tactics, at this level it matters the most
and when you solve puzzles you should think about the solution for 10 minutes, not 30 seconds - make sure that your move really works - try to refute your solution as hard as you can from the opposing side - and if you can't then play the move
if your move was wrong - don't just leave the puzzle - check with the engine why your move didn't work and what resources opposing side had - that way your tactics will improve the most
I've been stuck for about 2-3 weeks and I keep trying chess.com lessons they don't seem to be working
2-3 weeks chess wise is nothing.
Granted I never was 700 (I started playing against chess titans back in Vista days, then some mobile app, first time I went online I was 1200) but every improvement take dedication and time, at the very least 3 months, you can't consider yourself stuck if you don't work on your chess.
Start playing in real live otb rated tournaments and you'll start getting better. Stop online for a while as you study and when u return to online ur gonna see rating advances come in big chunks.
1: try solving more tactical puzzles; if you are not able to get a membership on chess.com, try lichess, where you get infinite puzzles for free.
2: play, play, and play. the more you play and utilize those tactics, the better you'll get.
3: if you can, try getting a chess teacher/coach.
you should also always play when your mind is the most active, but tat's the problem i struggle with, which is that i'm kind of addicted, making it very difficult to stop playing, even when my mind isn't active.

That's not really enough time to consider yourself stuck.
Measure your chess progress in at least months, if not years. Set yourself a realistic target to get to 1000 - say within a year?
Then work on getting better through drills, lessons, slow games, game analysis, and puzzles.
Good luck 👍
I've been stuck at about 700 rating and I can never get past it, but instead I drop to the 600's and slowly make my way back. I tried the chess.com lessons and nothing really helps. Should I keep practicing or try something else? Or will I just be stuck?
